Khajuraho-Bandhavgarh-Amarkantak-Bhopal-Jabalpur-
Pachmarhi
Assemble at Howrah Station at 7PM. Board Mumbai Mail. And start our Journey.
Arrive at Satna Station and proceed to Khajuraho. Arrive Khajuraho & Transfer to
hotel. Evening free for personal activities. Overnight stay at Khajuraho.
After breakfast proceed for visit
Khajuraho temple- The group of temples of Khajuraho testifies to the culmination of
northern Indian temple art and architecture of the Chandella dynasty who ruled the
region in the 10th and 11th centuries CE. Distributed over an area of 6 square km in
a picturesque landscape, the 23 temples (including one partly excavated structure)
that form the western, eastern, and southern clusters of the Khajuraho Group of
Monuments are rare surviving examples that display the originality and high quality
of Nagara-style temple architecture.
After lunch local sightseeing. Evening enjoy light & sound show at Khajuraho temple
(at your own cost). Overnight stay at Khajuraho.
Early morning checks out from hotel & proceed for
Bandhavgarh- Bandhavgarh National Park is in the central Indian state of Madhya
Pradesh. This biodiverse park is known for its large population of tigers, especially in
the central Tala zone. Other animals include white tigers, leopards and deer. The
mix of tropical forest, Sal trees and grasslands are home to scores of bird species,
including eagles.
Arrive & transfer to hotel. After lunch visit Jungle safari (at your own cost). Night
stay at hotel.
Early morning check out from hotel & proceed for
Amarkantak- Amarkantak is a pilgrim town and a Nagar Panchayat in Anuppur,
Madhya Pradesh, India. The Amarkantak region is a unique natural heritage area.
Narmadakund- Narmadakund and its vicinity located in the heart of the city of
Amarkantak are one of the most significant parts of Amarkantak. This is the place
where it is believed that the river Narmada originated.
Shri Sarvodaya Digambar Jain Temple- Located within the Narmadakund temple
complex, the inception point of Narmada river it is understood that the world's
biggest ashtadhatu Jain idol of one of the Jain Tirthankaras - Bhagawan Adinatha is
going to be housed in this new temple.
Trimukhi Temple- Trimukhi Temple is located atop a hill in Amarkantak and was
constructed under the reign of the Kalchuris.
Sonakshi Shaktipeeth Temple- As the name suggests, this temple was constructed in
honour of Goddess Sonakshi. The temple is flocked by thousands of tourists during
the festival of Navratri because it is believed that Goddess Sonakshi blesses
everyone who visits her during that time of the year. The locales around the temple
are lovely and the temple gives a beautiful view of Son River and the nearby kund.
Ancient Temples of Kalachuri Period- The Ancient Temples of Kalachuri Period were
constructed under the supervision of Kalachuri Maharaja Karnadeva (1042 - 1072
AD). They reflect the sheer brilliance of the Kalachuri architecture that is also to be
seen in temples like the Pataleshwar Mahadev Temple and the Machhendranath
Temple.

Early morning check out from hotel and proceed for Jabalpur. Arrive & transfer to
hotel. Overnight stay at Jabalpur.
After breakfast proceed for local sightseeing
Dhuandhar Falls- The Dhuandhar Falls is located on the Narmada River in Bhedaghat
and are 30 meters high. The Narmada River, making its way through the world-
famous Marble Rocks, narrows down and then plunges into a waterfall known as
Dhuandhar. The plunge, which creates a bouncing mass of mist, is so powerful that
its roar can be heard from a far distance.
Marble Rocks- The Marble Rocks is an area along the Narmada river where the river
has carved the soft marble, creating a beautiful gorge of about 8 km in length. It is a
popular Indian tourist destination. The local marble is mined and carved into various
figures and transported all over India.

After breakfast check out from hotel and proceed towards Bhopal. Night stay at
Bhopal.
After breakfast proceed for local sightseeing
Sanchi stupa- The "Great Stupa" at Sanchi is the oldest structure and was originally
commissioned by the emperor Ashoka the Great of the Maurya Empire in the 3rd
century BCE.
Udayagiri Caves, Vidisha - Udayagiri caves contain iconography of Hinduism and
Jainism. The Udayagiri Caves are twenty rock-cut caves primarily denoted to Hindu
gods Vishnu and Shiva from the early years of the 5th century CE. They contain
some of the oldest surviving Hindu temples and iconography in India. They are the
only site that can be verifiably associated with a Gupta period monarch from its
inscriptions.
Lunch on way. Night stay at Bhopal.
After breakfast depart Bhopal and proceed towards Pachmari via Bhimbhetka- Cave paintings dating back to approximately 30,000 years. Rock
shelters that were home to humans, millennia ago. And a rich flora and fauna
surrounding these, indeed, make Bhimbetka a gift to us from our earliest ancestors.
Night stay at Panchmarhi.
After breakfast proceed for local sightseeing. Night stay at Panchmari.
After early breakfast depart Panchmari and proceed towards Pipariya station.
